In one of my previous blog posts, I talked about current fashion trends, including making a statement and never forgetting to wear accessories. A hat is the perfect accessory to include in an outfit and to be a part of these current fashion trends.
I’ve recently become hat-crazed and I do not regret it at all. They have really helped me pull an outfit together. Over the years, I have collected the normal baseball caps, whether it was from clubs, colleges, or sports teams that can also compliment an outfit, but I am finally starting to have a collection of other fashion forward hats that I can wear out more. There are so many different kinds of hats, more than you know, that you can wear no matter the outfit. When I had first bought some of these hats, I was so scared to wear them because I didn't think I could pull them off or they would made me look over-dressed, but once I put them on and looked in the mirror, I felt confident and that is all that matters. So if you're hesitant on buying one, JUST DO IT, trust me.
Below are some of my current hat obsessions, that I either have bought and worn already or is on my shopping list. (Most images below will include links for you to go and buy that hat yourself either tagged from Instagram or the stores website if still available).
Fedora Hat
I included this hat in my Amazon finds blog post, but I love it so much, so I have to talk about it again. I recently got it in black too, besides the brown, so that I can pair it with more outfits. I wouldn’t mind getting it in more colors as well (Pink is a must). What's great about this hat is that it is perfect for any season and can be worn all-year long. Totally worth a buy!
2. Knitted Puffball Beanie
While this is a pretty simple winter hat, it can definitely complete a cute but cozy outfit. So many stores sell them in different colors and styles so there’s many options to choose from. Perfect for the Winter, this hat will definitely keep you warm, and stylish. As you can see below, I wore my tan hat with a tan sweat set, and I am obsessed.
3. Printed Bucket Hat
Bucket hats have been around for a while now, and they aren’t leaving any time soon. They can be worn in a lazy fit, at the beach, or dressed up. They also come in different colors, patterns, and materials. I especially love my light blue denim bucket hat, it's the first and only one I bought so far. Bucket hats are definitely a super fun accessory to play around with and can make an outfit pop.
4. Fuzzy Bucket Hat
I made this fuzzy bucket hat it’s own separate part because it is becoming overwhelmingly popular now, and I have yet to get one (but I really really want one). It is a different material than the standard bucket hat and gives a whole different style to an outfit. These fuzzy fur hats are coming in all different designs and can make any outfit cute and cozy. You can even pair them with a matching fuzzy fur tote bag that are also becoming increasingly popular now, as well, so make sure to check them out as well. I'm all about matching!
5. Breton Hat
I've always seen this hat here and there, never knew what it was called, but one day just decided I needed it when a potential outfit and outing came along. I looked everywhere and finally found one on Amazon. I was hesitant at first and not sure if I could pull it off, but it is so cute and paired with the right outfit, will make a killer look. This hat also of course comes in different colors, mostly neutral colors and patterns, which makes it very easy to match many outfit. If you're feeling bold, I say go for it!
