Last October, I blogged about my family’s trip to the Resort’s Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City. This year we headed over to the Tropicana Resort and Casino in August for our annual AC trip. And because we have gone to Tropicana many times before, we decided to try some new places in the resort to make it more fun and new trip!
First up is the Broadway Burger Bar, one of the many yummy restaurants that the Tropicana Resort has. Starting off with their cocktails, I got the cucumber mule that was quite refreshing.
They had many other perfectly-crafted cocktails to choose from, but Moscow Mules have my heart.
For appetizers, we got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tots, Nachos (with their famous chili), and the Giant Hot Pretzel to share. You can never go wrong with appetizers.
For the entrées, the restaurant stuck true to their name. The whole back of the menu was filled with a variety of different burgers, and some other sandwiches, to choose from. It took us a very long time to decide what burgers to get, but I decided on the "Rockefeller Center" burger. It was a blackened patty topped with blue cheese crumbles, caramelized onions and horseradish mayo. I also splurged and got sweet potato fries. It was very good!
Another new find for us at Tropicana is their 21+ pool and bar lounge area, the Cabana Five Bar & Pook Deck. I had seen the pool when visiting back in June with friends, but we didn’t have time to visit. This time, I made sure to check it out, and it was worth it.
It had a full bar with a wrap-around counter, plenty of lounge chairs, corn hole setup, a firepit, a couple of cabanas you can rent, and a stage ready for events.
The Tropicana has three other pools, as well, to enjoy. There is another outdoor pool with a food and drinks bar, an indoor pool, and a spa pool to be enjoyed when at the resorts
spa, Sea Spa.
I’ve never visited their spa, but when I go for my next annual trip, I'll have to tell you about it!
